So another week had passed and I am doing pretty good with my diet. I am down 10 pounds since starting about two weeks ago. Our Physical Fitness test is this weekend, so I am hoping for a last minute dropping of another 5 pounds. There is rumor though they we may not have to do it until next week ... so that would be awesome. Any extra time I can get is great considering I am actually doing SOMETHING to help.

On the soccer front, my base's team won yesterday 5-3. I scored two more goals and played one hell of a half in as keeper. It was only my second time playing back there, but my first when the other team actually made me do anything. It was pretty exciting. I'm hoping to play there a bit more this season. I had a good 6 or 7 quality saves yesterday that made me feel good about myself. Maybe I missed my calling with my height and everything.



Who knows.

And over in England, my adopted team is givng me a fucking ulcer! Fulham FC pulled off what must be one of the miraculous comebacks on Saturday. They were down 2-0 in the first half, but stormed back in the last 20 minutes of the game to score three goals and earn 3 absolutely crucial points in our fight against relegation. I am to the point now where it is a love/hate relationship with the Cottagers. They are doing what makes me love them so much - fighting to the end. Bastards. One week I swear we are going down, and then the next they pull off some crazy miracle and give me renewed faith. Even if we do get relegated, I'll at least be proud of the boys and proud that the American contingency there has done well. With 5 or 6 Americans on the squad, there is a good reason they are sometimes called Fulhamerica FC.

Fuckers are going to kill me. If not them, then `FixMeKnow for sure.
